Gunung Tujuh Lake
Gunung Tujuh Lake is a lake located in the Kerinci regency, Jambi. Precisely Pelompek Village, District Ayu Aro. The lake is located in the Seven Mountains, a mountain located just behind Mount Kerinci. Mount Tujuh was included in the Kerinci Seblat National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For mountaineers, Kerinci may be the main objective because the mountain is the highest active volcano in Indonesia [3805 m asl], but for tourists who want to just enjoy the natural beauty of Kerinci regency, Gunung Tujuh Lake can be considered as a tourist destination. Besides having an amazing natural panorama, the path traversed is also much easier than Mount Kerinci. Gunung Tujuh Lake is also the highest lake in Southeast Asia, the lake is located at an altitude of 1950 meters above sea level. With a height of almost 2 kilometers above sea level can only imagine how cold the water of Gunung Tujuh Lake in the morning.
